ResearchNow is the Flinders research management system.
With ResearchNow, Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students can update and maintain their research profile to build connections with potential collaborators, including industry partners, and as a platform for communicating their research.
HDR students can manage all aspects of their own research profile, from anywhere in the world. With ResearchNow HDR students will be able to:
Access to ResearchNow will be made available to HDR students when they are enrolled in their time-based thesis topic – check your Course Rule. Information will be provided to you via the online HDR Induction.
The default for each profile is set to restrict visibility in the public site and will require you to make it public, for the profile to be visible. The drop-down choice in the Visibility section must be Public - No Restriction to view a profile in the public site.
Changes will not be saved if the page is closed without selecting the Save button in the window footer.
The Data in ResearchNow has been migrated over from the legacy system ResearchMaster and may not be 100% accurate. The data is being reviewed, but incorrect data still exists. We request that you bring any errors you note to the attention of the ResearchNow Support team via a ServiceOne request.
Any created item can be edited or deleted by selecting the Edit or minus (-) buttons to the right. If there are multiple entries, you can re-order them by using the up and down arrows next to Edit.
The CV will not be published unless the Publish tick box is selected and the Save button in the window footer.
By selecting Download as PDF or Download as Word Document in the window footer. Log on to the system via your Okta dashboard, update your profile information, add your research outputs and record your applications and awards.
