This major is offered in conjunction with the Graduate Diploma in Engineering Science.
This major provides study in both the theoretical and the practical aspects of biomedical engineering that builds on a student's previous knowledge and experience. It also provides the student with an ability to critically analyse and evaluate information and solve problems and creates a basis for further study in biomedical engineering.
On completion students will be able to:
To qualify for the Major in Biomedical Engineering a student must complete 36 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic, according to the program of study below.
