The Undergraduate Certificate in Cybersecurity Fundamentals can be completed in six months of full-time study and is offered by the College of Science and Engineering. The Undergraduate Certificate in Cybersecurity Fundamentals is offered only as an exit point for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Information Technology.
The Undergraduate Certificate is available in an online delivery mode.
The course aims to provide students with the fundamentals that will underpin ongoing professional development, preparing graduates for further study or for a career in a computing or cybersecurity related field or in other areas where the range of skills and knowledge acquired is needed or desirable.
To qualify for the Undergraduate Certificate in Cybersecurity Fundamentals a student must complete 18 units, with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic, according to the following program of study.
