A student may complete a major sequence of 36 units in Artificial Intelligence by completing three Year 1 topics (13.5 units), two Year 2 topics (9 units) and two Year 3 topics (9 units) plus one additional topic (4.5 units) from COMP or MATH topics.
Psychologists and Behavioural Scientists need to learn to use modern technologies that have facilitated breakthroughs in the Behavioural Sciences and the generalization to a broader Cognitive Science perspective in which the computer plays a key role in the analysis of results and the modelling of psychological theories. All approved Cognate Majors in the Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) provide background essential to specific potential roles for graduates, and assist in learning the interdisciplinary language, culture and collaborative conventions.
