The Master of Information Technology (Network and Cybersecurity Systems) is a 72-unit program offered by the College of Science and Engineering.
Applicants must hold an approved Bachelor degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
The Dean (Education) may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness for candidature.
The course has been designed to provide graduates with:
The course provides continued professional development for IT graduates, preparing graduates for further study or for a career in a specialised computing related field or in other areas where the range of skills and knowledge acquired is needed or desirable.
On completion of the award, graduates will be able to:
demonstrate knowledge of the research principles and methods applicable to the selected specialisation and complete a research project.
To qualify for the Master of Information Technology (Network and Cybersecurity Systems), a student must complete 72 units with a grade of P or NGP or better, according to the following program of study.
