To qualify for Honours in Latin American Studies a student must complete satisfactorily 36 units of study as specified below. The program requires one year of full-time study or the equivalent part-time.
Honours in Latin American Studies aims to prepare students to complete a research higher degree through the achievement of a combination of coursework & thesis studies so that student outcomes include a further development of their undergraduate knowledge as well as experience in writing a research thesis on a concentrated field.
Students undertake 18 units of thesis and 18 units of elective topics.
