To qualify for Honours in Environmental Studies a student must complete satisfactorily 36 units of study as specified below. The program requires one year of full-time study or the equivalent part-time.
The aim of the Honours Program is to provide students who have completed to a sufficiently high standard all the requirements of the Environmental Studies major of the Bachelor of Arts, or another qualification which the Dean (Education) agrees is equivalent, the opportunity to pursue relevant coursework and a research project that will prepare them for higher degree study.
An Honours graduate:
Students undertake 22.5 units of thesis and 13.5 units of coursework topics.
