The Bachelor of Creative Arts (Costume Design) is offered by the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences as a dual award with the Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Merchandising (MST50116) offered by TAFE SA. The dual award requires three years of full-time study to complete both qualifications. Students are required to enrol concurrently at both the University and TAFE SA to complete the dual award.

A 54-unit VET Entry Pathway is also available. Applicants must normally hold the Advanced Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Technology (LMT60307), the Advanced Diploma of Fashion and Textiles Merchandising (LMT60507), or the Advanced Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Merchandising (MST60116).

To qualify for the Bachelor of Creative Arts (Costume Design) under the VET Entry Pathway, a student must complete 54 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic, according to the program of study listed below.
