The Associate Degree of Business and Associate Degree of Business (Commerce) requires two years of full-time study (or the equivalent part-time).
The Associate Degree of Business and Associate Degree of Business (Commerce) are administered by the College of Business, Government and Law.
The Associate Degree of Business and Associate Degree of Business (Commerce) are offered only as an exit award for students currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Commerce who are not able to complete that program.
The Associate Degree of Business and Associate Degree of Business (Commerce) provide an introduction to the knowledge and skills required for professional, business-related careers in private and public enterprise as well as to the main knowledge bases of business and includes topics in accounting, finance, marketing, international business, management, entrepreneurship and human resource management. Each degree aims to provide students with knowledge, understanding, skills and attitudes to facilitate entry into business-related careers.
At the conclusion of the two year Associate Degree students will have:
To qualify for the Associate Degree of Business, a student must complete at least 72 units in the Bachelor of Business.
To qualify for the Associate Degree of Business (Commerce), a student must complete at least 72 units in the Bachelor of Commerce.
