The Master of Occupational Therapy has a number of pre-requisites for admission, and students must demonstrate a level of academic achievement in the areas of Physiology, Anatomy, Communication, Research Methods, and Social Perspectives in Health before being admitted to the course. These admission requirements form the basis of all assumed knowledge.

The aim of this topic is to introduce students to the Occupational Therapy Process, and key theoretical approaches to practice, and to develop fundamental core skills in occupational therapy evaluation and practice.
