Topic description

This topic is designed to provide Drama Centre students with further experience in theatre, television and film production. All students are required to take part in at least two major productions.

Educational aims

This topic aims to:

  • Continue to develop an understanding of professional rehearsal techniques and practices as used in the theatre, television, and film industries
  • Further develop and apply the performance techniques learnt in the first year Drama Centre acting and directing course to a production context
  • Provide students further opportunities to experience working in front of a live audience in a variety of different performance venues
Expected learning outcomes
On completion of this topic you will be expected to be able to:
