The Employability Roadmap is designed for Flinders Public Health students to develop their employability skills along the learning journey, to ensure graduates are work-ready and equipped with skills that industry expect. This guide is aligned to a three-year undergraduate Public Health timeline and includes curriculum-based topics, careers workshops, online resources and activities within the Flinders Future Skills Programs.

During a job interview, it might be used to support the claims you make and to make the interview more memorable with the use of visual cues. Capture your achievements in a Word document, portfolio, or journal, and refer and add to it regularly.

Consider a virtual internship through organisations such as The Forage and Prosple. For example, The ASHM (Australasian Society for HIV, Viral Hepatitis and Sexual Health Medicine) Public Health Virtual Experience Program.
Volunteer Opportunities including Health, Caring and Medical Volunteering.
Create a strong personal brand so you can secure the right jobs and open opportunities.
