The Diploma of Digital Technologies requires the completion of 36 units of study and is offered by the College of Science and Engineering. The Diploma requires one year of full-time study (or the equivalent part-time).
Students who have completed the Diploma of Digital Technologies normally receive credit for a maximum of 22.5 units of topics if admitted to the Bachelor of Information Technology, a maximum of 13.5 units of topics if admitted to the Bachelor of Information Technology (Network and Cybersecurity Systems) and a maximum of 36 units of topics if admitted to the Bachelor of Design and Technology Innovation.
This is an employer sponsored program. Eligible students will be nominated by their employer to undertake this Diploma.

To qualify for the Diploma of Digital Technologies a student must complete 36 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic, according to the program of study below. Not all topics necessarily are available in a given year.
The award of a grade of Fail (F) in the same topic on more than one occasion may constitute prima facie evidence of unsatisfactory progress for the purposes of the University's policy on Student Progress.
Except with permission of the Dean (Education), the course must be completed within 4 semesters.
