It is important to check and update your details before you graduate as these will be used on your parchment which you receive when you graduate. It is also known as a certificate or testamur, and is a legal document.
Your name will be printed on your certificate exactly as it appears in the Student System. If your name is incorrect, you will need to provide one of the following official documents to Flinders Connect to have your details updated:
- Current passport
- Birth certificate
- Official name change certificate
- Australian drivers licence
All name changes must be complete in the Student System by the Absentia Application deadline (14 days prior to conferral date).
If you are coming to Flinders Connect to update your name, you must present either the original, or a physical certified copy of the document. If you are unable to come in to the campus please send a certified copy of your supporting documents to:
