The Undergraduate Certificate in Spanish can be completed in six months of full time study and is offered by the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences.

To qualify for the Undergraduate Certificate in Spanish, a student must complete 18 units , with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic, according to the following program of study.
18 units comprising:
SPAN1201 Introductory Spanish Part 1 (4.5 units)
SPAN1202 Introductory Spanish Part 2 (4.5 units)
SPAN2211 Keys to the Spanish and Latin American Worlds (4.5 units)
LING1000 Strategies for Language Learning (4.5 units)
